Welcome![edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! - UtherSRG 00:11, Apr 5, 2005 (UTC)

Thanks, but this is old news for me, I have been present on Wikipedia for almost half a year now, but mostly on nn:, nb:, is: and commons:, also here without registering before now. --KRISTAGAα-ω 01:12, 5 Apr 2005 (UTC)

WikiProject links[edit]

Links to WikiProjects or other pages in the Wikipedia: namespace should not be on the article page, but are acceptable on the talk: page. Thanks for your cooperation in this. - UtherSRG 00:12, Apr 5, 2005 (UTC)

Of course. You are right. I didn't notice the guidelines when I added the WikiProject link. Now I have also moved the other one. --KRISTAGAα-ω 01:12, 5 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Articles for deletion nomination of Aroree[edit]

Ambox warning pn.svg

I have nominated Aroree, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aroree. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Neelix (talk) 20:17, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
